Day 2

25 Grams of Fiber a Day

Saturday:
As I mentioned in an earlier post I decided to read the book Zero Sugar Diet I planned all my meals following the advice of the book. No added sugar and up my fiber intake. I should be getting 25 grams of fiber a day. I don't think I was anywhere close to that in my daily life. I made almond flour pancakes with bananas and strawberries for breakfast. The recipe does call for a tablespoon of maple syrup and I did add it but I  did not add any as a topping. If I figured it correctly my breakfast contained about 15 grams of fiber. I did notice I was full through most of the day and I had energy. For dinner we ate at Rathskellers. I love their mixed drinks but instead I had water. We had the loaded fries and prime rib, and no dessert!
